How does it work?
To reserve an AFL puppy, a $500 non-refundable Reservation Fee and completion of the Puppy Adoption Application is required. Reservation Fees must be paid by cash, check or money order and will be applied to the purchase price of the puppy. Receipt of the Reservation Fee secures a place for you on the AFL puppy wait list for up to one year unless an extension is granted by AFL.

We strongly encourage you to complete your “puppy shopping” prior to committing to AFL as the Reservation Fee is non-refundable. The Balance is split into two payments of $1400 each. The first $1400 payment is due when the puppies are 4 weeks old and the final payment of $1400 is due at 7 weeks of age. The puppy may go to his/her forever home between week 8-9. Final payments must be paid in cash or money order only. Personal checks will not be accepted for final payments. Puppies purchased but not picked up in week 8-9 are subject to an additional boarding charge of $35/day.

All AFL puppies, with exception of guardian program dogs, are subject to a mandatory spay/neuter contract requiring spay/neuter between 9-12 months of age. AFL will provide the adoptive family with the ALAA registration paperwork only after the adoptive family has provided the required veterinary certification of spay/neuter. Again, spay/neuter is a REQUIREMENT with all AFL dogs and is NOT OPTIONAL.

Delivery service is available at an additional expense. Please contact us for details.
